Today was an awesome day, all my classes weren't even classes, it was just free time. Except Mr. Arkin, I guess he doesn't want us to have homework over the break, so he gave us a work period. Other than that, today is the very last day before winter break. At 12:00 AM, I am free! (for two weeks though) Just one more hour and I'm gone! Though I got to study for four exams, so it's going to be a busy and tough break. *Sigh*

I Wasn't Here
Today, because I was too sick, Mr. Arkin sent me back home. Thankfully I didn't miss anything important, and that the class was a work period. From what I heard, we are to finish up the window tracing program today for homework, so I'm going to do that now.
Also one very important thing: tomorrow is the last day before Christmas break starts, also tomorrow is a half day, so yay!!!

Follow the Bouncing Ball
Today, we got to finish up the "bouncing ball" program. With the help of my fellow classmate, I was able to do it. Then at the end of the class, Mr. Arkin showed us a program for us to recreate again, accordig to Mr. Arkin it is a step of a game he wants us to reacreate. And that concludes my ICS class.

Today, we had an test review, and got our test back. After that Mr. Arkin showed us some basic graphic programs, and taught us how to change programs into executables. Then we saw a not-so-basic/ordinary graphics program, and were told to recreate it. That was pretty much it for today.

Deadline
Today, we must all become a 4. With the help from other students, I believe we will. Today is also a special day because todya is Lady Lovelace's (Augusta Ada King) birthday, she is the world's first programmer. She was the fist person to write an algrithm and run it on a machine, others have written algrithms, but she was the first to run hers.

Today, we had a work/tutoring/catch-up period. My group and I looked over our programs, and when we were done that, we even looked at definitions. I think it was a very progressive period. Tomorrow is the deadline to become a 4, and hopefully, I (and my other group members) will all become a 4.

Procedures
Today, we had another introduction, it was to programmer-defined procedures. We learn another keyword: procedure. Also, we formed peer-tutoring groups and we were assigned the goal (to become a 4) by the end of the week. So that means we'll be doing that all week. I, for one, is determined to become a 4, or at least a 3.

Three Things To Success
Today, we talked about the three things to success, or to some of us, the three things that's preventing us from success. They are: 1) Read with precision. 2) Break a solution into an ordered set of steps. 3) Visualize contents of memory. He also talked to us about the things we can do to improve in each statement. For example, he told us about an exercise for number 2, the lunatic exercise (we would have to write the steps for the lunatic to get from dinner to the end of his shower). For number 3, we can improve by doing desk checking, in the most comfortable way for us. Then for the last twenty minutes he let us work on anything we need to catch-up with, or if we are done everything then we can do things such as our daily blog, or work ahead and do assignment 13 for repetition. So here I am, doing my daily blog and now I am going to make my assignment 12 modified program look prettier since there's still some time left.

Work/Catch-Up Periods ALL Week
Today, I just got the good news about getting catch-up periods all week, since I'm not behind, I can use these periods to do homework or work ahead on the assignments. Right now, I'm trying to figure out assignment 12, but I need a break, so I'm posting this blog. Today, we learned about arrays, a collections of variables, this function allows the computer store more than one data for one var. Also we learned a new keyword called "of", and when declaring a array, the ".." means "to", so "1 .. 100", would mean "1 to 100". Today, is a specal day because it is Mr. Arkin's birthday, but on the Jewish calender. Well, it doesn't matter what calender it is on, "Happy Birhtday, Mr. Arkin!", either way. Alright break's over, back to assignment 12.

No More Periods In My File Names
Today, we took down some notes on word processing guidelines. Also, I learned my lesson to not to include periods in my file names, at least not the ones that will go live on the internet. Today, was another work period, for most of the time, I changed my file names and then because I changed them, I have to change the links or else they wouldn't work. Then the other half, I got to look at repetition assignment 12 (which was the homework), and wrote like one third of the program and I am going to continue on with that now.

Printer Copmarison
Oh my goodness! We got another HTML, I repeat HTML project. *sigh* Why HTML? Why can't it be Turing? I like Turing so much better! not to mention I don't need to go to another website to validate it, it's all in one IDE. Oh wells, this is what we get when our printers keeps on 'breaking'. Hopefully this won't take up all of my weekend because it is a long weekend, and I'd like spend time with my friends. Also, I have another project due Monday, but I guess we need to learn our lesson. Though there are other ways, why does have to be a HTML one ?!? Mr. Arkin said it's because we get an un-deserved day off, but I think differently. We deserve it! Why? It's have way through the term, we worked hard during this half, and we need days off, so we can work even harder during the next one, but everyone has different opinions, and he's the teacher, so whatever he says, goes. Anyways the project seems very complicated so I'm going to go have a look at it now, have a great weekend ! (Unless you have projects -like me- then try to have a decent weekend, and hopefully you'll finish your projects soon)

Desk Check
Today, we started the day off by desk checking each others' assignment 6. Then Mr. Arkin told us to make the necessary changes to our programs and then print it out. After that -you are not going to believer it but-we got yet another work period! This is my favourite class right now because even though we get homework, we practically finish it in class, so it's like we don't have homework. Today, for homework, we were assigned to modify one of our programs so the user gets to choose some of the things displayed. And of course another assignment, assignment 8. That's it for today.

Then after that it was basically another work period, oh wells work periods are fine with me! For homework, we were assigned assignments 6 and 7. Six was okay, while 7 was kind of brain wrecking. Today, was a work period, we got to look at a model code for the modified asssignment 2. Also, if we were done doing that, we were able to continue on and work ahead on the repetition assingments. Today, we were working in Studio 218, the reason is because we didn't get to on Friday, so today was like a make-up day. For homework, we were assigned the repetition assignments 3, 4, and 5. Though if we were finished those, we can work ahead and finish the other assignments. Today was a pretty progrssive day because I looked at the model code, and I finished some other assignments too. Though I did get called down to the office, so I didn't get as much time as I wanted to, but oh wells. Hopefully I didn't miss much, I'm going to have to ask a classmate to see what I missed and catch up.

Woah! It's The Weekends Again!
Today, we learned more in-depth on repetition, personally I find repetition the most interesting out of the three (selection, sequence, and -of course- repetition). We also learned three new terms today: loop; loop body; and sentinel value, which plays a big role in repetition, right now. Also, we learned a new key phrase: exit when; which is a sentinel value. It is used so we don't have infinite loops, which are loops that goes on forever. Another thing that was interesting was that we had one of our VP's sit through the class with us, which was definitely something. Today the examples we looked at, all had numeric control values, which means we were to avoid the relational operator, = (equal to). This is because -well- Mr. Arkin told us that it would be dangerous to do that, so I'm just not going to. Today was a successful and productive class, we learned a lot, for the last 20 or so minutes, Mr. Arkin even gave us the time to finish our homework, repetition assignments 1 and 2. But for two we were assigned an extra task, it was to modify the code so the user can choose the starting and ending number. I'm already done that because it wasn't a lot and since it's more interesting than the other programs I did it pretty fast, which is pretty good for a weekend because this means I don't have to worry about ICS homework for the rest of the weekend. I can focus on my other homework, which are 3 projects, so I already have a lot on my hands, and this really helps me a lot. Hopefully I will be able to finish another one later on, and not have to worry about that one either. Of course, I'm going to try to enjoy my weekend, since it is the weekend. Hope you have a great weekend too!

The Threat of a Test
Today, in class we took up our programming test with a partner, we were assigned to come up with model answers for the test questions. Then we came together as the class and reviewed the test together. After that we got a lecture on how we don't do the work until threat of a test, which I have to shamefully admit is true, so from now on, I'm going to do a daily review of what we learned whenever I do my daily blog. Then we looked at a model code for the arithmetic-mean program, it was kind of different from mine, but I found how the model code was written interesting. Also, during our class we were called down for a Remembrance Day Assembly, it was very touching. For homework, I had a personal homework assigned, it was to review the Boolean operators, expressions, etc.. That is exactly what I'm going to do right now.

Also, we learned two new terms today, counter and accumulation. Today's blog is going to be short because I'm going to have very long studying session. Yep, we are on assignment 7 now, in class we presented our poster for Features of Selection Assignment 6, the other teams had some really interesting things that my team did not notice, but I will look more closely for this one (assignment 7). Also we saw the posters made by the other classes, and they had even more features written down. After we copied down the features we missed from the other classes' poster. We kinda (emphasis on the kinda) threw a party for Mujtaba during the last 30 or 40 minutes of the class, celebrating the fact that he is now officially a Canadian citizen. For homework, we have the obvious Daily Blog, but other than that we had to exchange assignment 7 with a partner, and we were assigned to do another code analysis, and identify all the features in the program. Desk Checking Once Again
Today, we spent the whole period desk checking a model of selection assignment 6. It was pretty easy - the desk checking part. Then on a big piece of paper, we were to write down all the features in the model coding of assignment 6, that part was a bit hard. There are so many features I didn't know how to list them all on one piece of paper, even if it was a big piece of paper. For homework, we were assigned to choose our 3 top most sophisticated selection programs and desk check them, since we need practice. Also today is our school's Halloween dance, Noire, so right now I'm going to finish my desk checking, along with all my other homework. Hope you (whoever you are) are coming to Noire! Happy Birthday Goerge Booles! The boolean expressions were named after him, one hundred and ninety-five days ago he was born, so happy birthday to him. Today, we learned the case selection statement, which is very similar to the if selection statements. Of course other than that we learned new keywords such as label and case. We learned that in the case of -control value- do -label value-. We also learned about loop bodies and how they make the program just go on and on and on. For homework, we were to modify a ATM program, so it prevents negative balances. Also we were to add on the loop body keywords, so the program can do multiple 'runs' while actually calculating the balance. Tomorrow is Take Your Kid To Work Day, so that means I, and everyone that is in grade 9, will be missing a whole entire day of school, which means no homework. Yay!!!

Can't Think of a Title
Today, we got our pop quiz back, and (thank god) I did not fail. I repeat, I did not fail! I'm so happy! :D Anyways, today we learned about if ladders, and boolean operators. I learned that there is only one unary boolean operator: not, but there is two binary boolean operators: or, and. We also wrote truth tables, not sure what that is for, but Mr. Arkin said that we are going to use it later on so okay. For homework, we were assigned a few more assignments.
Tomorrow, there are going to be a couple of students who are going to be away because of a science filed trip. So now I will hope that tomorrow will be a work period then. :D

Today, we started on selection. We learned about true parts and false parts, how it the boolean statement is true, the true part is executed, if the statement is false then the true part is skipped. Only if there is no false part (since it is optional), but if there is a false part then, if the statement is false then the false part is executed. Today, we learned the most important thing we can learn in the course, tracing the execution of code (desk checking). Thinking like the computer, and writing down/executing ourselves what the computer would of done. Also we learned about arithmetic operators (unary and binary), and relational operators. Another interesting thing we learned today was the two boolean values (true, and false), they are named after a famous mathematician named Dr. George Boole. For homework we are to create two program tables, one consisting of the arithmetic operators, and one of the relational operators. That's pretty much it.

Hopefully Mr. Arkin will have a more clear explanation of the functions and procedures. Or maybe I will ask a classmate for help. Since the selection assignments aren't mandatory and I'm doing my daily blog right now, I actually don't have homework for ICS, though I do have to write a sonnet for English and added two more stanzas for my ballad. Assignment 4
Today, due to the request of revising assignment 4, the whole class was spent working out the two different kind of solutions: long, but easily understood or short, but needs a lot of explaining. One thing I learned today that I didn't know before was that you did not have to do the sections in the oder you put them, you can start with the output section if you wanted to. So now that I know that, I think it's going to be a little more easier to so the programming codes. Assignments... Aren't They Great?
More and more, they just keeps on coming. Programming assignments, we've been getting them non-stop for the pass week. Thought they aren't that hard, they are still very time consuming. I think half of the time I spend on homework is spent on the assignments. Though I'll admit one thing, they are kind of cool ... in a nerdy/geeky/irregular way. Anyways, today in class we got into groups of four and we were assigned to come up with the best code that we think (out of all of ours, mine didn't get picked). After we joined with another group and then we picked the best one out of the two former best ones. For homework, we were to make sure that our programming codes work and we were (guess what) given another assignment. That was pretty much it for today.

AH! Programming... So Confusing
Today we went further into the input coding using the oh so trustful program called Turing, we learned about the different sections: declaration, input, processing and output. We learned about where to put which kind of data, and what happens to the data in each of the different sections. For example, I learned that in the declaration section, it needs to be in alphabetical order, and in the processing section is where the "formulas" are stated. For homework we are to do assignments that let us practice on the different levels of putting data. It was confusing at first, but once I got the basic format/structure, it was pretty easy. I find the processing section most difficult, because it's sort of like math, except you need to write the "formulas" with words, which gives a lot of problems.
Anyways tomorrow is a late start day, so I can sleep in! I have a bunch of homework that are all very time consuming. Hopefully I can go to bed by say midnight! *sigh* Oh wells.

It's The Weekend Again! Yeah!
Today, we learned more keywords, these ones are used for input programming. We learned new keywords such as: get, string, and var. Mr. Arkin also showed us the ‘f9’ function in Turing, now if we don't know what a keyword does, we are just one button away from knowing. For homework, we got 3 assignments that encourages us to use the new keywords that we learned today. Also the new comments that we should use ( % declaration section, % output section, etc.), but three assignments are pretty good since it is the weekend.
Hope everyone will have a great weekend! :D

I Was Away
What did I miss? What did I miss? I had to ask that question a lot of times because of a geography trip, we climbed the Niagara Escarpment. Fortunately I didn't miss that much, in English, they played a game/had a free period. In French it was just presentations, and it was the geography trip.
In Computer Science, according to my sources, we learned three glossary terms. Also, we were assigned an assignment about an asterisk border. I don't know about the exact details, but I know what to do (sort of).

Character Graphics
For homework, we are to do some character graphics assignments. In order to do that, we learned some new programming terms, such as oncatenation operator, comma, %, output field and output-field width. With these new terms we are off to a good start. Just to clear the date up, it's because I did it at 2:00 in the morning, so I hope it still counts. Also, tomorrow I'm going on a field trip, so I'm pretty happy. Hopefully I don't miss that much tomorrow.

Turing
Today we learned programming terms, such as put and skip. We tried out these new terms on the program Turing. For homework we are supposed to try out more of the programming built-in functions. Beside that my computer wasn't working, and I had to move. Anyways that's all for today.

First Day All Over Again
Today we started programing. First we copied down a flow chart of what we need to do, but we were introduced to a program, Turing, that pretty much does everything for us. Today was also the end of HTML coding, Mr. Arkin was very nice and allowed us to have a party! I'm so happy! Anyways I think I'm just going to bring chips in.

Today, we learned a more in depth meaning of binary digits (bits). See my title, can you "crack the code" and figure out what it says. It's okay if you don't, I'll tell you. It says "Binary Digits", yes, that's right, that long chain of numbers spells out only those few letters. Well, when you know that one of those 8 digit chains only makes one letter, it sort of makes sense. We didn't do anything else today except learn about writing with bits. After we learned it, we were assigned to crack Mr. Arkin's blog post, which was written only in bits. After a long times of decoding, me and my partner - Ziyi, finally figured out what it was. It was:
ASCII Rules!
Today, my students learnt some binary arithmetic.
They can now count in binary!
There's was no homework today. I'm so happy, well of course there's this blog posting thing, but other than this I'm good to go. At least for ICS I am.

Kilobyte, Megabyte, Gigabyte, Terabyte
Today, we copied down more definitions. Four to be exact; ASCII, string, booting and character. One thing that was interesting to me was the 7-bit (binary digit), we learned about how it works, and how it's a 2 digit base. For homework, we were to update our Basic Glossaries, and find images for each of the new terms we did. The rest of the day was pretty good too, it was a late start day so the day automatically became cool. Also, I didn't get that much homework so I'm pretty happy. One more thing, instead of stating the day as my title. I'm just going to sign with the date from now on.

What's 2 to the power of 30?
Today, we copied down more glossary terms for our basic glossary. We learned about the difference between primary and secondary storages, RAM and ROM, but of course we copied down a bunch of other definitions. Such as kilobyte (2 to the power of 10 bytes), megabytes (2 to the power of 20 bytes), and gigabyte (2 to the power of 30 bytes), also we were to search the next five ~bytes for homework. Since I don't write cursive except for ICS because I'm faster and neater and the teachers let me write in printing, I was copying very slow and had to look at the person beside me. (Thank you Ziyi). For homework we are suppose to update our basic glossaries with the definitions we copied down today, and put it on the web.

The Third Weekend
Can you believe it? The first month of school is already over. It actually went by pretty fast. On Friday, we brainstormed and copied down more computer terms. We didn't even get to listen to our music, because we didn't get independent work time. It was just notes, notes, and more notes. For homework, we were to create a new page, "Basic Glossary", in addition to our Class Glossary. Also, we were to find 100 pixel by 100 pixel images for each word. Of course these pages need to be validated. After this, this will be the most detailed and have the most information provided glossary I've ever seen. Since usually, even in the dictionaries we buy everyday, they don't even include a images for every word. Maybe the occasional one or two words, but we do more work, to give more to the people who reads it. Though I think the only people reading it will be the ones that created one themselves, except Mr.Arkin, since he doesn't have to do it. Anyways I'm going to go back to finding images for my glossary.

Eigthteenth and Educational Day
Today was very different from the other ICS classes that we’ve been having (independent work periods). Today we got new terms to add on to our Class Glossary. For every term we were given 60 seconds to come up with a brain-stormed idea, then Mr.Arkin would would write down a more formal definition down. We learned learned about the differences between hardware- is the physical components of a computer, and software- the programs inside the computer which can only be seen, and not touched, and much more. For homework, we were to add the new terms onto our glossary and make sure that the HTML and CSS are validated. Another important thing we learned today is the difference between FTP Client, and SFTP Client. Due to the exposition of our log in information, we are now to use Secure File Transport Protocol, instead of just the regular File Transport Protocol.
Also today was picture day, hope everyone was lookin’ good!

Seventeenth and Sort of Eighteenth Day
Oh gosh, I though the Class Glossary was due today at 22h00, so I was doing that until 22h20 until I realized that it wasn’s…I’ am so blind. Oh well, at least now I’m not going to have to rush it last minute. Though it is the reason why my blog post is on Thursday and not Wednesday. I’m editing this post right now, and when I went to View Post, it actually says Wednesday, September 29, 2010, SO I guess I’m not late. Right now it is 00h51, and here I am, blogging.
Anyways, today we had a full-on work period since today was the last period Mr. Arkin was going to let us work on our glossary. During class it was so quite, so unusual. That was pretty much for today…Oh! I got a new computer,so I’m pretty happy.:D

Sixteenth and Sick Day
Today my throat was hurting, so it was actually a sick day for me, and not like a ‘sick’ day (when the day is great cause it wasn’t). Today we didn't take any notes, we just went right to work. For homework we were to make progress towards completion on our glossaries. That’s pretty much it for today, I swear my posts, actually a lot of people’s posts are getting shorter and shorter. Right now I’m going to add a few things to my glossary. For example, a link to every letter (even though I don’t even have that much words for each letter) to raise my marks, since I already have a zero for my other assignment.

Fifteenth and Free Day
Today we learned about HTML lists: ordered; unordered and definition. It wasn’t new stuff because I used that in my assignment. We also learned some new words such as, ‘Hanging Indent’, ‘In Line Element’. For an ‘exercise’ we were to create an glossary for all the terms that were given to us, using the definition list HTML coding. Listing the definition terms (which were to put in the tags: ‹dt›), a formal definition definition and a brain-stormed definition definition (which were to put in the tags: ‹dd› ). For homework, we were to complete the skeleton of our glossary. Also, we found out about a different way for transferring files. It is a program called “Dropbox”. That’s pretty much it for today, but I want to point out something, maybe I'm wrong, but maybe I'm not. In my last blog I asked nicely for Mr.Arkin to leave a comment below stating whether or not he&squo;s going to let us have another period, but when I checked; no comment. Of course we all received the e-mail stating he’s going to talk about this in class, so maybe he thought he didn’t have to, maybe that’ it. But is it is not, then that means we are doing this blog everyday for nothing. If I'm wrong, please, just leave a comment and I will just delete the last few sentences. Mr.Arkin, just leave your comment below!

Fourteenth and (hopefully) Forgiving Day
Oh My Gosh!Oh My Gosh! Oh My Gosh! Oh My Gosh! Oh My Gosh! I didn’t get mine peer marking sheet through. AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I’m so dead. Everything is done, but just not the peer marking sheet, which might I remind you, is the most important thing you need to have on your assignment. Now I’m going to fail! Fail, I tell you, fail!!! I hate my life. I hate my life. I hate my life. I hate my life.
I should of listened to Mr.Arkin and do all those things earlier, so I wouldn’t of have to rush it last minute. Mr. Arkin, if you are reading this right now (which you should since you said you would), please be nice and just give us one more day, no one more period for me (or us, depends on if there’s any other person who didn’t catch the deadline) to get the peer marking sheet in. Please, you will be labeled “The Best Teacher Ever”!!! Please, or if you don’t want that then maybe you can open up the account again and give us Saturday to do it. I know you probably have family dinners, grocery shopping, and a bunch of other things to do on the weekend, but…wait that’s perfect you can go do all of those thing on Saturday, while giving us Saturday to put our peer marking sheet up. Or if you don’t want to do anything, and give us zeroes, then at least can you leave a comment, so I can prepare myself for the disappointment?

Thirteenth and Terrific Day
Today is the day, when I finish my Super-Power Autobiography assignment! Today was a full on work period because the autobiography assignment is due tomorrow. While doing my homework, I used all of the information Mr.Arkin taught us. I’m not even joking, all those character entities, image storage, margins, etc, was all used. I think I did a pretty good job, but I know there's always room for improvement. Tomorrow when my peer marker marks mine, I will improve. In class, Mr. Arkin was nice, and let us listen to the radio (Virgin Radio), where the songs we usually listen to are played. Tomorrow I’m not going to Room 218, I’m going to Studio 218, I wonder who the DJ is? Is it you?

Twelveth and Tumbling Day
Today, we didn’t learn much in class, though we were given instructions on peer marking. During individual work time, I learned about indentation. I learned that professionals usually use ‘ems’ because em1 is basically one letter in your font size. At home, I worked on my autobiography, I used to have so much imagination, but now I am really having some trouble thinking up of ideas.
In Geography we learned about the Earth and how it’s on a tilt and how that tilt affect our seasons. Unfortunately we were required to write multiple paragraphs at an University level, explaining why do we have the seasons. In English, we had a free studying period, and for French, we were to prepare for an irregular verbs quiz. Today went by pretty fast, and was kind of tumbling its way through. Anyways, just want to make a note to anybody who connects Filezilla, uses it, and then leaves it on connected without doing anything. I just want to say, please don’t do that, please dsiconnect so the people who does need it can go on. Thank you!

Eleventh and Erasable Day
Today, we learned about image storage. Mr.Arkin taught us, instead of using the URL of the image we want to use, we can store all of our images into one folder. This way we can use a link that would lead to the image folder, containing the children, and selecting the right child image, from the parent folder.
Today was also Grade 9 Day, we did a lot of fun activities throughout the afternoon. There were tug-of-war, a sponge/water race, and a cheer-off. Personally I think that the cheer my class came up with was the most creative one, but unfortunately we did not win the cheer-off. Anyways today I made some mistakes, which I regret, so today was erasable.

OMG!Tenth Day and Most Progressive Day Ever!!!
If you ever bothered to look at my webpage, then you would see all the things that were improved. The different font style that I used, the background image that I used (but I am going to have to remove that later on because it is copyrighted. Other than, with the help of peers I was able to add a border to my webpage. Today we learned about the differences between margins and padding. Also, we learned about when to use pixels, and when to use points. We even learned about the importance on line spacing, of course, we were to check our spelling and grammar.
Today was a pretty fun day, I do not have that much homework, but of course I would not expect none. Tomorrow, I'm expecting a fun day because it Grade 9 day! I hope it will be fun, and all of us grade 9 can all meet with the other students who we do not have classes together.

We had yet another independent work period, where I was trying to find the CSS code for animations. This blog is going to be short because you can't really write anything on independent work periods since you are suppose to work independently, but of course we can ask for assistance from our peers and our teacher. Eighth and Validated Day
Oh my Goodness! Can you believe it? The second week of high school is almost to an end! This week went so quick, I cannot believe it. This week has been ...fun. Today in class we were to use the nine Trouble Shooting Questions to validate our web pages, and work on our super-power autobiography. The Computer Science classes this week have been mostly been independent work periods. Well, I for one did, I had twenty errors (doubled from yesterday for some reason), but just now I had gotten rid of them all! Yeah!!! The rest of the day went well too. In French class we learned about masculine and feminine adjectives. In Geography we learned about scales, and we have a quiz tomorrow, which bring my day down from awesome to great. Then in English we read another story "Penny in the Dust", and we got some questions for that, which brought my day from great to good. Anyways tomorrow is Friday, and then comes the weekend, so I'm in a pretty good mood. :D

Seventh Day and On My Way to Success
I need to think up of more creative and original ideas for my titles... Anyways today Mr. Arkin let the people who's webpages weren't validated pair up, so we can discuss and help each other validate our webpages. I don't have that much to write these days since Mr. Arkin is letting us do the work we can't do at home at school. So my paragraphs these days are pretty short (hope that doesn't effect my mark O,o). My progress over the last few days has been pretty okay because when I first tried validating my webpage at home I had 10 errors (no jokes, 10 errors!), but by the end of the class I had only 5, which means I was able to get rid of half of my errors. Yay!!! ^,^
The rest of day went pretty well, too. In geography we had a supply teacher, so we were able to work on our map assignment. In french we did a little work, but it was do-able. Last period English was kind of harsh, since we had to copy three pieces of notes. My hand was hurting by the time i finished copying, but on the bright side we don't a lot of homework, all we need to do is read a short story. So to sum it up today was pretty okay day. :]

Sixth Day and Still Alive!!!
*Breath In * *Breath out* Sixth class and I'm still alive!!! (barely though) Today, what we did was learn how to validate our HTML and CSS codes. After, we had a mini discussion with a partner on how we can be successful with our webpgeas by the end of the period. Fifth and The Day When I Was Completly LOST!!!!!
Today was a day of pure torture. Why? Because
1. I slept at 2:00a.m. so I was tired beyond believe
2. I woke up late and barely ate my breakfast when I realized that I was late for my ride
3.I got my English text book, which, I had to hurl around between the change of first and second period, and second period and lunch
4. I am so far behind on my webpage project (I didn't even start on the essay protion of my super-power assignment)
6.I was completly lost during computer science
7. The words on the projector was so small I couldn't see
8.I had no idea what to do until someone ...sort of... explained it to me
9. I had the tinest lunch ever, even though I was still femished from my even tinier breakfast
10. I almost fell asleep in French since the teacher truned off the lights for us to see the projector better
11. I got another map assignment from geography
When you have a day like this you would think of it as pure torture. In computer science class I just just lost, the only I was sure about was the fact that I was far behind on the webpage assgnment, the super=power assignment, and the fact that I was suppose to download Filezilla. Hopefully after I read the EVERYTHING on touque.ca about EVERYTHING, my day will become better. >,<

My Fourth and Fascinating Day
Phew, just finished yesterday's blog and now on to today's. As you may know (if you bothered to read my previous post) I'm was getting 'it' out of my system, and boy did I ever. I was doing yellow with green, red and black, balck and white (of course it's balck background with white text), and all these random colours.
Thanks yesterday's students host, who helped me with my code, I was able to experiment freely. Yesterday I was as lost as ever, and now I'm doing it like a pro, well as pro as I can be ^,^. Today I learn the different things I could do , such as putting my text in a box, adding background images, doing columes and varieting different fonts and so much more.
I'm one of the student hosts today and I got to wear a pretty sticker >,<. Since it was the same supply teacher as yesterday's she didn't have any questions. The only thing me and the other student host has to do is help her close the blides down. The supply teacher is really nice, and not strict at all. Of course she's not as good as you Mr. Arkin (I'm such a kiss-up aren't I? xD). Class (and school) is about end, so I'm going to end this off now. :]

Thrid and Most Stressing Day Ever
Today we had a supply teacher, Ms.Ecker. She was really nice and after the student hosts helped her, she just let us experiment with our website. My website was failing at the CSS part, unfortunatelym, I copied the link to the css docment wrong, so I spend most of the period figuring that out. In the end thanks to some of the other people, who were geniuses at doing the HTML and CSS codes, I was able to successfully creat my website. I learned that when doing the CSS code, you are suppose to use { instead of (.
Okaiy I'm going to be honest, unfortunately I forgot to finish this blog post yesterday at home because I had to babysit my little brother, so I'm finishing this post now. What we did today was experiment with the HTML and CSS codes, so we can (as Mr.Arkin said) "get it out of our system, though since I couldn't do yesterday due to my unintelligent mistake, I'm getting it out of my system today. >,< Anyways today I shall remeber to post another blog :D
I feel like an explore doing his daily journal about his (or in my case her) journey. Though conquering how to make webpages and adding link and all this codes, is pretty much like a journey to me. Fortunately I have the help of other students, and of course Mr. Arkin.

Second Day!!!!
Hello (to whoever is reading my blog)!!!
Today was the second day of school, and my second Computer Science class. Today was really hard, we had to take so much notes. We learned new computer/webpage words/meanings, like what containers are (empty elements which you would fill in with what ever you want), and what's HTML (content)or CSS (Format).
I was kind of lost since we were going kind of fast, basically when Mr.Arkin said "In you notes", I would just write what he's saying on my piece of paper. Though I was pretty caught up at the end, so no worries. I guess this is pretty much it, I think I covered what we learned today, I really hope this blog doesn't have to be in formal format because then i would be dead.
Anyways, Blog To You (whoever you are) Later

First Day of School
Today was the first day of this class (and every other class too). I actually didn't have any trouble finding it, probably because someone was helping me find the way. The teacher seemed ... in pain, and not the strict kind (thank god). I met a new friend and luckly had a few people whom I kew from before.
Basically the class wasn't a total bore, we got two homework assginments, but who cares? I get to go on the computer without my mom telling me no (lucky me). So I guess this is pretty much it, this is so weird because I didn't blog before, EVER. Oh wells. Eh.... blog you tomorrow?
